Cait Nolan is an artist, educator and gardener based in Lenapehoking, the uncedeed land of the Lenni Lenape near Williamstown, NJ.
In her most recent artistic work she creates hyper-local place based quilts using fabric that she dyes with plants grown and foraged on her small farm and surrounding public land.
Cait is inspired by the cyclical nature of plant growing and her work leans into the limitations of seasonality as a response to the over consumption of capitalism.
Cait hosts fresh leaf indigo dyeing and other workshops at her farm studio.
