Join me and Laura Hricko for a hands-on three hour workshop at my South Jersey farm located just 30 minutes from Philly!
In this workshop participants will harvest and process the Japanese indigo grown on site in my 2,000 sqft dye garden and then experiment with a variety of fresh leaf dyeing methods including ice water, salt rub and hapazome.
Each participant will be dyeing their own silk scarf and soy-pretreated cotton bandana.
The $95 workshop fee covers all materials and supplies.
Participants may bring additional fiber to dye (up to 250 grams).
This workshop will run from 9am - 12pm
